Style and Design 

Inspired by the one in halo infinite, The Nerf Halo Bulldog SG is a striking blaster and one that any Nerf and Halo enthusiast would be excited to add to their collection. 

The body of the Nerf Halo Bulldog SG is white, with splashes of orange and grey towards the front end of the blaster and olive green towards the back.

The blaster itself is sleek and compact, and it looks like a great product overall. If your child wants a blaster that they can use not only for regular Nerf battles but for Halo-themed play, the Nerf Halo Bulldog SG is definitely a great blaster to consider.  

Dart Capacity 

So, can the Nerf Halo Infinite Bulldog SG compete with its in-game counterpart? We certainly think so! This blaster comes with a rotating barrel capable of holding up to 10 Halo-themed Nerf darts. The face is relatively open, allowing for a more seamless reload experience when the time comes. This is also a manual blaster, so the player has full control over their ammo supply.  

Firing Style and Range 

The Nerf Halo Bulldog SG is a pump-action blaster. Simply pump the blaster with the attached grip, and fire at will! Fortunately, this blaster does have slam-fire capabilities so that your child can compete with motorized blasters. It also offers a range of about 70-feet, which measures up with what you’d expect from an Elite blaster.

 Put simply, the branding on this blaster makes no difference in the performance, providing your child with something they can actually carry into battle that doesn’t just look good but shoots well too.  

Additional Features 

What’s super exciting about the Nerf Halo blasters is that each of them comes with an in-game code. When you purchase your blaster, you can redeem this in-game code to get your very own skin that looks exactly like the Nerf Halo Bulldog SG in multiplayer mode. Whether your child is playing outside with friends or online with friends, the fun never has to end!  

Speaking to the additional features on the blaster, the Nerf Halo Bulldog SG is a relatively straightforward blaster, so the only things to highlight here are the built-in shoulder stock and the flip-up sights. This blaster shoots quite accurately, but it can be difficult for some players to properly prime and maintain a steady shot.

 Players can rely on this sturdy plastic shoulder stock to help them maintain their aim, and they can use the flip-up sights to get a better shot if they’re shooting at enemies from further away. The Nerf Halo Infinite Bulldog SG doesn’t add much to the design, but that’s because it doesn’t really need it to compete with

What We Like 

• Great Design: You don’t have to look too far to find well-designed Nerf blasters these days, but we still really love the look, feel, and color scheme of the Nerf Halo Bulldog SG. Bonus points for being a blaster uniquely tied to the Halo series! 
• In-Game Code: Blasters on their own are a great deal of fun. However, none of them are blasters that you can use in both the physical world and the digital one. With the in-game code offered to you when you purchase the Nerf Halo Bulldog SG, your child can have fun playing with their new Nerf blaster outside and then use that same blaster when they’re playing with their friends online! 
• Plenty of Ammo: With a manual blaster, you need a healthy supply of ammo to hold your own against the competition. 10 darts is plenty, offering your child enough to take on anyone with a manual or motorized blaster and making it so that they can reload their blaster with relative ease once they run out of ammo.  
• Good Performance: There are some themed blasters out there that look amazing but simply don’t meet our expectations once it comes time to use the blaster. Fortunately, the Nerf Halo Infinite Bulldog SG is not one of these blasters. With slam-fire capabilities, a 70-foot range, and an easy-to-use experience, this is a great blaster to have on hand.  
• Added Features for Improved Accuracy: While the built-in shoulder stock and the flip-up sights on the Nerf Halo Bulldog SG aren’t necessarily major highlights of this blaster, they’re worth mentioning as they can make it much easier for some players to get more accurate shots with.  

What Could Be Improved 

Overall, there’s nothing on this blaster that we think could be majorly improved. Those who have purchased this blaster for their children are happy with the way it performs, and the in-game code is always a plus for Halo fans that are looking to combine their passion for Halo and Nerf.

If you’re looking for a solid blaster that’s the best of both worlds, the Nerf Halo Bulldog SG is certainly a great choice to consider.

Our Verdict 

Themed blasters don’t always live up to their hype, but we find that the Nerf Halo Bulldog SG is worth having both in-game and in the real world. Stellar performance, ample ammo, and a sleek, compact body make for a great blasting experience that your child is sure to love.
