DIY – Peg Board Nerf Wall

If you are looking to add a Peg Board Nerf Wall to your child's room, here are the exact steps and the items you will need to make it look like this:

Step 1:

The WallPeg Peg Board comes in three sheets measuring 24" x 16". So you will have to figure out your configuration. Either stacked or side by side. These peg boards are not made from the particle board as others so they won't sag in the middle. The come with ready mount screws. 

*Make sure you get one side into a wall stud. Some Nerf blasters are heavy and depending on how many you want to display, the weight might be too much if it is attached to just drywall 

Step 2: 

Once you have the WallPeg Peg Board attached to the wall it's time to start organizing how you want it to layout. The 143 piece kit below (and mentioned above) has so many attachment options that you test out to make sure the blasters fit. 

I recommend the longer hooks for the bigger blasters and the smaller hooks for blasters like the Strongarm. The basket is OK for the nerf darts. You might be better off finding an plastic bin from the dollar store that fits inside of the metal baskets to keep the darts from falling out. 

One you get these organized on the peg board, you may want to display the bigger blasters separately, which is where step 3 comes in.  

Step 3: 

The 24-piece fast track allows you the ability hang longer blasters (like rifles) vertically instead of taking up the space on the peg boards. Though it says garage on the packaging, it can be used in the bedroom for the blasters. Don't worry about weight on these as it can hold over 1750 pounds. One note, you absolutely must find the stud when screwing this into the wall. Otherwise, it will rip holes in the wall.
